Dans la ville de S\u00e1stago, sur les rives de l’\u00c8bre, se dresse le superbe ensemble monumental du monast\u00e8re de Rueda, l’un des plus grands repr\u00e9sentants de l’ordre cistercien en Aragon. En 1182, le monarque Alphonse II conc\u00e9da aux cisterciens la ville et le ch\u00e2teau de cette derni\u00e8re enclave, de sorte que les moines commenc\u00e8rent rapidement la construction du monast\u00e8re. En 1202, les travaux d\u00e9but\u00e8rent officiellement et en 1238, l’\u00e9glise fut consacr\u00e9e. Les travaux ont dur\u00e9 jusqu’au XIVe si\u00e8cle, lorsque la ma\u00e7onnerie m\u00e9di\u00e9vale du complexe a \u00e9t\u00e9 achev\u00e9e et que sa tour mud\u00e9jar \u00e9lanc\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 sur\u00e9lev\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

L’enclave est id\u00e9ale pour le moine cistercien, la renovatio de l’esprit, telle que dict\u00e9e par la R\u00e8gle de Saint Beno\u00eet et la revitalisation de son essence, c’est-\u00e0-dire la recherche de l’humilit\u00e9 et de la puret\u00e9 \u00e0 travers Ora et labora, (travail et pri\u00e8re), dans sa vie quotidienne.<\/p>\n

L’ordre cistercien fonde sa vie sur la pri\u00e8re et la culture de la terre, pour laquelle il utilise l’eau qui irrigue les champs fertiles. Rueda ne fait pas exception : son seul complexe norial, ainsi que l’aqueduc et les canaux qui, il y a des si\u00e8cles, accompagnaient la vie quotidienne des moines avec le murmure de l’eau, sont toujours pr\u00e9sents aujourd’hui.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Laissant intact le noyau m\u00e9di\u00e9val primitif, tandis que les cellules des moines, la spectaculaire galerie herrerienne et le palais abbatial ont donn\u00e9 forme \u00e0 la Plaza de San Pedro, qui constitue l’entr\u00e9e monumentale d’aujourd’hui.<\/p>\n

En 1836, avec la d\u00e9saffectation de Mendiz\u00e1bal, la p\u00e9riode religieuse du complexe a pris fin et il a \u00e9t\u00e9 converti en b\u00e2timent \u00e0 usage agricole et d’\u00e9levage. Enfin, en 1998, sa propri\u00e9t\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 la Diputaci\u00f3n General de Arag\u00f3n, et 2003 a \u00e9t\u00e9 l’ann\u00e9e cl\u00e9 de sa restauration.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
